It’s been an unfortunately long wait for the second episode of Telltale’s The Wolf Among Us, made even more agonizing by how good the first episode was back when it launched in October. Today, however, the wait is over, as Telltale has officially announced that the second episode, Smoke & Mirrors, will launch next week across the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac and iOS.

The series, based on the award-winning Bill Willingham comic book series Fables, chronicles the adventures of Sheriff Bigby Wolf, who is investigating a series of murders among fairy tale and folklore characters set against a modern city backdrop. As with Telltale’s The Walking Dead series, the gameplay is a mix of traditional point-and-click adventure elements with a heavy dose of personal player choice in dialog and plot-altering decisions.

To celebrate the upcoming release, Telltale has released a new promotional trailer for the episode, which can be viewed below.

We will continue to keep you updated on Telltale Games and The Wolf Among Us as more news drops, and will have a review for Smoke & Mirrors up shortly after it launches next week.
