Episode 5 Of The Wolf Among Us Gets A Trailer & Release Date

The first episode of The Wolf Among Us may have launched all the way back in October of last year, but it's still hard for me to believe that the story's about to reach its conclusion. Episode 5, Cry Wolf, has been confirmed to launch next week across the multiple platforms that the episodic adventure game is available on, and as with previous Telltale releases, a brief but intriguing promotional trailer has been released to get fans hyped.

The first episode of The Wolf Among Us may have launched all the way back in October of last year, but it’s still hard for me to believe that the story’s about to reach its conclusion. Episode 5, Cry Wolf, has been confirmed to launch next week across the multiple platforms that the episodic adventure game is available on, and as with previous Telltale releases, a brief but intriguing promotional trailer has been released to get fans hyped.

Telltale’s official Twitter account has confirmed that Cry Wolf will be available to download on PC, Mac, and the North American PlayStation Network on Tuesday, July 8, with the Xbox 360 and European PS3 versions following suit on July 9 and the iOS version on July 10. The promotional trailer for the game, which can be viewed below, is less heavy on specific plot spoilers than previous ones, but I’d still recommend you avoid it if you haven’t played the first four episodes already due to some character reveals. While a lot of the trailer is archive footage from earlier in the game, we do get some interesting looks at Bigby finally confronting the long-hidden main villain, and hints at an interesting transformation of some sort.

We will have a review for Cry Wolf available next week after its initial release. In the meantime, take a look at the trailer and let us know what you’re hoping for from the final episode of The Wolf Among Us in the comments section below.
