Perhaps one of the biggest surprises from the VGAs last night was a new trailer for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, showing that, although they may be made of metal and filled with machinery, robots still feel sad when their brethren are injured.

The trailer doesn’t show much in the way of gameplay or anything, but it certainly gets Transformers nerds excited as the Autobots and Decepticons meet for another epic battle. Especially after the likes of Bruticus and Grimlock are called in.

We also get a release window at the end of the trailer, the admittedly expected Fall 2012. Which means it’ll be competing with the speculated Assassin’s Creed 3, whatever the Call of Duty franchise can dig up and the thousands of people that will still be playing Skyrim.

What say you, gamers? Has this one made your must-have list?

Sorry, the video is currently unavailable.
