Even though the Family Guy series isn’t at the peak of its popularity, marketing materials are still being churned out year-round. The newest video game adaptation of the show, Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse, has been strangely absent. Despite the initial release date being set for months ago, the game has faced numerous delays for reasons that haven’t been disclosed as of yet.

Any fans looking forward to getting their hands on a copy are going to have to wait yet another month, as the newest (and hopefully final) release date has been pushed back to November 20 for the US. Gamers in the UK get their copies on November 23.

Despite the disappointing outing on consoles the series had six years ago, it still managed to retain the show’s trademark humor, something that Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse hopefully hasn’t forgotten. Developed by Heavy Iron Studios, the game follows Brian and Stewie as they travel through the Multiverse one more time, landing in various parallel universes that will introduce many different locales. There’s a much stronger emphasis on multiplayer present in this addition to the series, but we’ll all have to wait another month to find out if it’s worth the time and money.

So after this many delays, is anybody still looking forward to playing? Or is the tease of more time the straw that broke the camel’s back? Let us know in the comments below.
