Resident evil 3

New Art Shows Us What Nemesis May Look Like In Resident Evil 3 Remake

Even though the Resident Evil 2 remake is scarcely three weeks old at the time of this writing, that hasn't stopped a rabid fanbase from demanding that Resident Evil 3: Nemesis receive the same treatment (and CODE: Veronica, for that matter). After all, if two of the Playstation originals have been remade, why not go for the trifecta? I'm guessing RE 8 currently takes priority at Capcom, but after that, let's hope to return to the streets of Raccoon City one last time.

Of course, such a possibility already has fans imagining what Nemesis’ involvement may entail because, well, his name was in the title of the game itself (unless we’re talking about Japan, where it was originally dubbed Biohazard 3: Last Escape).

Wasting no time in foretelling the future is that of David Romero, who posted some concept art of his own on Twitter. Seen below are a handful of his ideas as to how the relentless pursuer could appear in a modern overhaul.

If you’re wondering why Nemesis is wearing a mask, that’s because Romero thought the player should be granted something to shoot off the beast, much as we were able to liberate a hat from Mr. X’s dome. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m forced to recall Gotham‘s version of Bane.

Actually, this isn’t the only fan-made thing pertaining to the subject floating around this week. Already, someone’s swapped out Mr. X for Nemesis in a mod that you must see to believe. Granted, he doesn’t travel as fast as he would if Jill Valentine were around, but it’s good stuff nevertheless.

Tell us, would you like to see a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake? If so, start making your voice heard so that Capcom take us all seriously!
