While Rock Band Blitz will be fully compatible with all previous downloadable songs and disc exports in the Rock Band franchise, it will also come with 25 built-in songs, which will be fully playable in Rock Band 3 upon purchase.

The last of these songs are as follows:

  • Foo Fighters – “These Days”
  • Kelly Clarkson – “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”
  • Maroon 5 – “Moves Like Jagger”
  • Queen – “Death on Two Legs”
  • Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Give It Away”
  • Soundgarden – “Spoonman”

In addition, Harmonix has released a new preview video narrated by project director Matthew Nordhaus showcasing some new powerups that can be used in the game. These include point multipliers and individual bonuses for each instrument.
