Final Rock Band Blitz Songs & Powerups Revealed

The release of Rock Band Blitz, a downloadable spinoff game in the popular series from Harmonix, is drawing ever closer. But before the August 28 PSN launch and the August 29 XBLA launch, the developer has finally announced the remainder of the game's built-in song list.

The release of Rock Band Blitz, a downloadable spinoff game in the popular series from Harmonix, is drawing ever closer. But before the August 28 PSN launch and the August 29 XBLA launch, the developer has finally announced the remainder of the game’s built-in song list.

While Rock Band Blitz will be fully compatible with all previous downloadable songs and disc exports in the Rock Band franchise, it will also come with 25 built-in songs, which will be fully playable in Rock Band 3 upon purchase.

The last of these songs are as follows:

  • Foo Fighters – “These Days”
  • Kelly Clarkson – “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”
  • Maroon 5 – “Moves Like Jagger”
  • Queen – “Death on Two Legs”
  • Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Give It Away”
  • Soundgarden – “Spoonman”

In addition, Harmonix has released a new preview video narrated by project director Matthew Nordhaus showcasing some new powerups that can be used in the game. These include point multipliers and individual bonuses for each instrument.
