As the final add-on for Insomniac Games’ popular title, Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines will feature a brand new story, which sees Sam on a mission to save his old mentors from Fizzco Robotics. Since there wouldn’t be much to do if everything went according to plan, Sam soon finds himself having to deal with various out of control robots.

Guest SunsetTV host Jessica Chobot promised that this add-on will feature the most challenging batch of enemies in Sunset Overdrive so far. However, while the action is set to become more difficult, Sam has a new tool to help fend off his robotic foes. The Energy Ball of Death tool will enable players to not only traverse the new area quicker, but can also destroy anything in its path. The DLC will additionally feature a handful of other new challenges, quests, and missions, which will be revealed over the next month on SunsetTV.

Personally, I’ve just started playing Sunset Overdrive, so I’m a little behind on all of the DLC that’s been released. Based upon what I have played and the footage glimpsed from SunsetTV so far, though, Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines looks like it will be a blast to play through. Then again, I’m a fan of crushing enemies with giant objects, so I may be a bit biased.

Tell us, will you be making the journey to Fizzco Robotics in Sunset Overdrive come April? Sound off below!
