First Footage For The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild’s Story DLC Has Surfaced

Nintendo has released the first snippet of footage for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's second add-on, revealing that Link will be returning from the base game as the playable character. Prior to today's confirmation, many had suspected that DLC 2 - or Champion's Ballad, as it's officially known - would replace Hyrule's hero with a different protagonist, with Princess Zelda out in front as the favorite. Alas, that doesn't appear to be the case, although Nintendo did promise that the expansion will dive deeper into Zelda's backstory, so you can likely expect the would-be monarch to feature quite heavily throughout the newly-penned story.

It’s not quite on the same level of style as the Majora’s Mask headgear or armor sets introduced with Breath of the Wild‘s first DLC, but no doubt a welcome addition for Wind Waker fans.
