Telltale Games has taken full advantage of tonight’s return of The Walking Dead TV show, by releasing the first six minutes of its upcoming mini-series, The Walking Dead: Michonne.

Beginning in a nightmarish dream state, this lengthy introductory tease takes us into the tortured and regretful mind of our main character. Michonne, you see, has been unable to get passed events from her past, and must deal with those issues throughout her game’s three episode arc. Most noticeable, though, are the gruesome encounters, seemingly updated visuals (plus animations) and improved button prompts.

The Walking Dead: Michonne will begin to unfold its horrific tale nine days from now, on February 23rd, with its debut episode, In Too Deep. Stay tuned for our in-depth review, which will be up around launch.
