New info and media for the upcoming Darksiders II continues to slip out. The latest trailer showcases a good amount of the battles and cinematics we can expect to see in the apocalyptic sequel. New protagonist Death is shown battling on foot and on horseback, climbing massive towers, and fighting all sorts of demons and monsters. War, the protagonist from the original game, also looks to be making an appearance.
In addition, THQ has released the recommended system specs for the PC version of the game. The minimum specs are as follows:
- OS – Windows XP, Windows Vista SP1 or Windows 7
- Processor – 2.0Ghz Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor or AMD equivalent
- RAM –2GB
- Hard Drive – 20 GB space free (10 GB free after install)
- Video Card – NVIDIA 9800 GT 512 MB Video Card or AMD equivalent
- Online Steam account
The recommended system specs are as follows:
- OS – Windows 7
- Processor – Any Quad-core AMD or Intel Processor
- RAM –2GB
- Hard Drive – 20 GB space free (10 GB free after install)
- Video Card – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 512MB Video Card or AMD equivalent
- Online Steam account
Darksiders II is scheduled for an August 14 release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC, with a Wii U release scheduled for later in the year. We will keep you updated as more info becomes available.
