Major Nelson has announced the next set of free games that will be arriving for Xbox Live Gold members as part of the company’s Games with Gold promotion.
Starting on August 1st, you’ll be able to download Crackdown for free and starting on August 16th, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Case Zero will become available for free download too.Â
I never really got into the Dead Rising series but man do I love Crackdown. It may be an old game, having been released back in 2007, but it’s incredibly fun and was a huge hit when it came out.
Plus, a Crackdown 3 is rumored for the Xbox One, so this may be a good time to re-visit the series, or experience it for the first time if you missed it when it first launched. Trust me, you’ll really enjoy this one, especially if you’re into open-world sandbox games.
