Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Beta Begins In January

Forming its basis on a real-life military super soldier tech plan, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is set to have gamers take the forefront in futuristic warfare. The in-development cover-based shooter gives you access to tons of technology you could only dream about using in real-life, such as a cloaking suit, tiny drones and other high-tech gadgets.

Ubisoft has announced via Twitter that the multiplayer beta for the latest entry in the Ghost Recon franchise, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, will begin in January.

“We know you have been asking about the beta. We’re excited to announce that the MP beta will be launching in January 2012!”

VG247 reports that the beta will be Xbox 360 exclusive and those who have their copies of Splinter Cell: Conviction will get “early exclusive access”. The developers will be announcing other ways to get into the beta shortly and we’ll let you know when we hear more.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is set for a March 2012 release for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
