Rockstar Games has slated Grand Theft Auto V‘s latest content pack, Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2, for a release across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on Wednesday, July 8.

Arriving about a month after Part 1, the sequel’s latest add-on will herald the standard array of new weapons, cars, clothing and, perhaps most enticingly, the once-PC exclusive The Lab radio station for console owners. With the upcoming holiday weekend, the studio also pointed to GTA V‘s Independence Day-themed pack that was released last year, giving those who purchased the game on PC – or indeed PlayStation 4 and Xbox One via the remaster – an opportunity to light up the skies of Los Santos with the Firework Rocket Launcher.

To keep the momentum going after its launch, Rockstar also plans to host an Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 Social Event the weekend of release. Beginning Friday, July 10, the event will allow Grand Theft Auto Online players to tout some of their new wares acquired from the content pack in specially designed challenges and missions.

We’ll keep you posted on Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 as Rockstar puts the final touches on the Grand Theft Auto V DLC prior to its release next week.
