Gravity Rush Is Receiving Some Sort Of Follow-Up

For PS Vita owners, Gravity Rush is definitely one of the more notable system exclusives. The open-world fantasy adventure, featuring an amnesiac named Kat who has the power to manipulate the force of gravity around her, was an original concept that was generally well-received by critics. Kat has since made playable appearances as DLC for both PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and the latest Hot Shots Golf title, and now, it looks like she may once again be taking center stage in another game.

At Sony’s Tokyo Games Show booth, a brief teaser trailer was unveiled that seems to point towards a new Gravity Rush title. The video, which can be seen below, starts out showcasing some gorgeous environmental concept art, followed by a quick clip of Kat once again navigating the city as only she can. Instead of listing the actual game’s name, we simply get some text saying, “Fall again…A new project from Team Gravity,” indicating that the original development team will also return for the follow-up.

Whatever this new Gravity Rush game turns out to be, I’m personally excited. The original was a fun and unique title, and hopefully the team will be able to improve on their now-established formula from it.

We will keep you up to date on more news regarding the Gravity Rush franchise as it develops.
