Showcasing yet another one of their discipline focuses to be mastered in the upcoming Grid Autosport, Codemasters has released a brand spanking new trailer for Tuner events. Encompassing a huge range of car types and driving styles, Tuner events will have players racing the clock in Time Attack races and competing in Drift events among others.

As Codemasters so eloquently put it in their blog post announcing the trailer:

“The Tuner discipline will test your throttle management skills to the limit in Drift events, ask you to thrash Muscle cars and get fast and furious behind the wheel of Super Modified motors in Time Attack events and races.”

“Tuner events are all about style and control; you’ll be challenged to find the very edge of what your car can do, without taking it past the limit. And believe us, you’ll know when that limit is approaching as teh crash barrier rapidly approaches the side of your car!”

Fans of racing games will be more than familiar with these driving styles, but Grid Autosport‘s uber-realistic handling and design will introduce a new challenge to the genre. The trailer, which can be seen below, features interviews with various racers from the discipline and, similar to previous teases, probes them for a loving description of the sport.

Following in the steps of previous entries in the series, Grid Autosport will push players to their limits to keep control of their vehicles, placing more emphasis on steady driving and consistent control rather than full-throttle speed and reckless maneuvers. Fans of the series can pick up this latest outing on June 24 in North America and June 27 in Europe for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, with pre-orders now available on all systems.

Check out the trailer below, and try your hardest not to giggle at the sillier testimonials.
