Harmonix, the developers responsible for creating such music-centered series as Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and Dance Central, may have something new in the works.

The developer has posted several job listings on careersarcade.com. Among them is a listing for a Narrative Designer, wanted “to incorporate creative story lines into gameplay on a unique motion-gaming IP”. Several of the other job offers also mention a “music-based motion-gaming IP”.

Harmonix has made some major hits in the past, and already has the downloadable spinoff title Rock Band Blitz scheduled for release later this summer. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this announcement, and we will let you know the moment anything is announced.
