Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky Shoots For The Stars In VGX Debut

While most of the hype for tonight's VGX Awards Show was centered around the big name trailers from titles such as Titanfall and The Witcher 3, it may have been a smaller game that walked away with the most hype. While most of the hype for tonight’s VGX Awards Show was centered around the big name trailers from titles such as Titanfall and The Witcher 3, it may have been a smaller game that walked away with the most hype. Developed by Joe Danger creator Hello Games, No Man’s Sky dazzled with an incredible debut trailer and it seems that people just cannot stop talking about it.

In No Man’s Sky you are tasked with exploring an entire universe of mystery. This is not hyperbole, mind you, as you will be able to travel to any location you see. Spot a planet far off in the distance? Just hop in your ship and you can find out what lurks upon it. Although creator Sean Murray stated that the title was mostly about exploration, the debut trailer also showcased some impressive dogfighting.

As of right now, Hello Games has yet to reveal when No Man’s Sky will be released or what platforms the title will be landing on.

If you have played Hello Games’ Joe Danger, you would already know that the team is incredibly talented. How their experience working on a stunt racer translates to the genre of interplanetary exploration, I’m not sure. I would be lying, though, if I said that I wasn’t eagerly anticipating the title’s next reveal.

We hope to bring you more information on No Man’s Sky in the coming months. For now, though, tell us, were you impressed by Hello Games’ VGX showing? Let us know in the comments section below.

Thanks to Arekkz Gaming for the trailer.
