During Sony’s ongoing E3 press event in Los Angeles, the studio rolled out the latest story trailer for Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite, the mascot brawler set to launch on September 19th. Not only that, but Capcom also confirmed that a story-centric demo will be available to download from today, June 12th, so why on Earth are you still reading this?

When it comes to that aforementioned sizzle reel, Capcom and Marvel ensured that all of their many A-list names were in attendance, including Sigma, Strider, Mega Man X, Zero, Ryu, Chun Li. In the red corner (read: Marvel’s corner), you’ll be able to get a glimpse of Captain Marvel, the Guardians of the Galaxy and even the Mad Titan himself, Thanos. Elsewhere, there’s also Dante from Capcom’s long-running Devil May Cry and Black Panther, Marvel’s African king who will soon light up the silver screen via the Ryan Coogler-directed origin story.

Their mission? To defend Stark Tower and the rest of the planet from the nefarious Ultron-Sigma, and though story isn’t always the number-one selling point for a fighting game of this nature, it’s reassuring to learn that the title won’t skimp on the solo content.

Expect Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite to pummel its way onto PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19th. Stay tuned for more information over the coming days and remember, that playable demo should become available on all platforms in the next few hours – if it isn’t already.
