Sapienza, like the game’s first ‘Showstopper’ episode set in Paris, looks gorgeous, but trades the glitz and glamour of the latter’s high society fashion show for idyllic coastlines and sinister laboratories. Agent 47 will be tasked with dispatching a mad scientist this time around and, judging by the trailer (above), he’ll have access to all the tools that he had at his disposal in Episode 1.

Square Enix has already said previously that the second episode will be just as dense with sandbox features as the first, stating that:

Sapienza is a dense location full of challenges and packed with opportunities and stories for the enterprising player to unfold. And as with all locations within Hitman, dark secrets and engaging stories are everywhere to be found in charming Sapienza.

Hitman: Episode 2 releases for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC next week, April 26, and will be free to download for those that have already purchased the full digital version, or purchased separately if you own the ‘Intro Pack’.
