This Is How Jedi Consulars Will Play In Star Wars: The Old Republic

Admittedly I've always been more on the Sith side of things when it comes to the Star Wars universe. They have way more fun. And they can shoot lightning out of their hands. LIGHTNING! However this new trailer showing off the abilities of a Jedi Consular make switching to the light side a bit more tempting.

The Jedi Consular is one of the many classes players will be able to pick when Star Wars: The Old Republic launches next month. Consulars are known for being very peaceful, and devoting much of their time to meditation, studying and learning the true abilities of The Force. They’re signified by using a green lightsaber, (like Yoda or Qui-Gon Jin in the movies,) and will only use their lightsaber as an absolute last resort.

In the game, if you play your cards right, you can learn such awesome abilities as cloaking yourself or healing characters that can no longer battle.

Star Wars: The Old Republic releases exclusively on PC on December 20, 2011.

What say you, gamers? Anyone else think a “Force wedgie” attack would go perfect with that cloaking ability?
