We are just about 19 days away from when pitchers and catchers report, ushering in a new season of baseball. And it really just wouldn’t feel like time for baseball without Sony’s MLB The Show gracing our PS3s with one of the most stellar sports franchises of this generation.

Sony Computer Entertainment announced that for the second year in a row, Toronto Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista will grace the cover of the Canadian version of MLB 13 The Show. If you’re living above the border, you may want to check out the official PlayStation Canada Facebook page where you can vote on one of three cover designs.

Those of us down in the States will have the Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen, who won a fan vote for the honor, plastered on our boxes.

MLB 13 The Show will be hitting the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on March 5th. Go ahead and mark this one on your calendar, if for no other reason, it will remind you why my production has slowed to a halt and I all of the sudden seem to have the flu.
