Killer Instinct Season 3 Begins March 29

The long-awaited third season for Xbox One console exclusive beat 'em up Killer Instinct starts its engines later this month, developer Iron Galaxy have announced. Four brand new characters will be available on launch day, with an additional four to be released over the remainder of the season.

The long-awaited third season for Xbox One console exclusive beat ’em up Killer Instinct starts its engines later this month, developer Iron Galaxy have announced. Four brand new characters will be available on launch day, with an additional four to be released over the remainder of the season.

The four initial characters consist of two returning from past games – Kim Wu and Tusk – as well as two guest characters from other franchises. Rash – a giant, anthropomorphic toad joins the cast from Rare’s Battletoads series, while Arbiter is taking a break from the Halo series for a little beat ’em up action.

Iron Galaxy are staying quiet about who the remaining four characters will be, but rumors are already circulating that series villains Eyedol and Gargos may be making a return.
