Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX  was given a fairly definitive release date of December 2nd, 2014 at this year’s E3 showing, but fans of the franchise and facelift were a bit bummed out that no limited edition was detailed, especially after Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX launched with a beautiful artbook.

Fear not, Kingdom Hearts fans, for today some juicy details were released on the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX limited edition. Unfortunately, though, the package is a bit disappointing when compared to the artbook that we got alongside 1.5 ReMIX last year.

Nevertheless, if you pre-order Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, you will get a pin depicting Sora and Mickey Mouse. It’s also worth noting that if you have already reserved the game your order will be bumped up to the limited edition free of charge

I suppose it’s a neat collectible, but is anyone really clamouring for a pin? Have your pants really been knocked off your ankles just because these two enchanting characters are back-to-back for the first time on a pin? I’m honestly not, but the crafters seem pretty proud of their creation. Judging from the quote below, you would think that they’re giving away an oil painting.

“Of course, you can’t announce something without perfecting every single detail. We’ve looked at every curvature of the pin from the expressions of the characters to the key blade with the Mickey Dangler. The pin badge is made out of a soft enamel coating on metal and at its height it stretches out to 1.68.″

Whether you’re picking up this pre-order bundle or not, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is set to launch exclusively for PlayStation 3 on December 2nd and December 5th in North America and Europe, respectively.
