Kingdom Hearts Is Getting The HD Treatment; It’s Not What You Think

Coming next year on PS3, Square has planned the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. Aside from being an absolute mouthful to say, the collection will include the first Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and the cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

It’s an odd choice, that’s for sure. Only cutscenes for 358/2 Days? No Kingdom Hearts 2? No Birth By Sleep? This seems…odd.

I can only assume that Kingdom Hearts 2, Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance will be included in some sort of 2.5 collection or something, but that probably would have been a good thing to announce alongside this, don’t you think?

Regardless, the games that are included here will also include trophy support. To help take the sting out of missing out on the two greatest games in the franchise, I guess.
