At a Gamer’s Day event this past week, Konami revealed the existence of limited editions for their next two big releases: Metal Gear Rising and Zone of the Enders HD Collection.

The Zone of the Enders HD Collection, which you may recall carries a demo for Metal Gear Rising, will release a limited edition alongside the standard edition. The limited will carry a 100 page artbook and a soundtrack of remixes all wrapped in a handsome gold box.

The Metal Gear Rising limited edition will feature a steelbook case, the official soundtrack and a “high frequency plasma lamp” made to look like Raiden’s katana with lightning shooting out of it. Some folks attending Gamer’s Day snapped the picture of the lamp below.

No prices were announced on either limited edition, only confirming that each will release the same day as the standard edition of each respective game.

That lamp will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.
