Introduced in the previous series release, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Jensen has been outfitted with several new upgrades and augmentations. Already a force to be reckoned with, his new abilities make him an even more dangerous soldier. In the trailer alone, we get to see the Titan shield, as well as the Nanoblade, PEPS and Tesla gun-arm attachments.

Besides giving us a good look at the new abilities of Jensen, the trailer also showcases two new locations that we will get to travel to in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. While only glimpsed in the clip, we see that we’ll make our way to both Dubai and Prague over the course of the adventure. The franchise has frequently traveled around the globe, so it’s not surprising that this go-around will feature several unique locations.

As a fan of Human Revolution, I’m eagerly anticipating the release of Mankind Divided early next year. The assorted ways you could modify your protagonist has always been a major draw of the franchise, and I’m interested to see what developed Eidos Montreal introduces for this iteration. From what was showcased in the trailer, though, I think we are in for some pretty crazy augmentations.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is scheduled to launch February 23rd, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
