A crossover between the worlds of Persona 3 and Persona 4, two of the recently released trailers for Persona Q focus on the cast of the former. The first, which can be seen below, features the cast of P3 being interrupted during a meeting in the Velvet Room. An odd circumstance only leads to further confusion when the group exits the room and has no idea where they ended up.

The second clip continues the Persona 3 love, as it focuses on Junpei, one of the more popular characters in the series. The Ace Detective may find himself gawking at the many female characters around him, but he is not to be underestimated. Using his bat and his Persona Hermes to do damage, Junpei is a beast on the battlefield.

The final trailer released switches things up, as it focuses on a brand new character named Zen. Teaming with his partner Rei, Zen is different from a majority of the cast of Persona Q because he doesn’t have a Persona to use. However, he is far from helpless, as he can either use his assortment of crossbows or spells to dole out damage.

Considering how prevalent the series has been in recent years, it’s odd to think that this is the first, non-port RPG in the Persona franchise to be released since 2008. That reason alone is enough to pique my interest in Persona Q, even when you consider that we don’t know a whole lot about the plot yet. But, hey, Atlus was able to pull off a good crossover story with the recently released Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, they’re more than capable of pulling it off.

We will continue to have coverage of Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth in the lead-up to its late November release.
