Launch Trailer For Dust: An Elysian Tail

Dust: An Elysian Tail, a 2D action-adventure game from Microsoft and indie developer Humble Hearts, is scheduled for its' Xbox Live Arcade release on Wednesday, August 15. A side-scrolling title in the vein of such games as Castlevania and Metroid, the game follows the adventures of a mysterious warrior named Dust, who brandishes an ancient blade and takes on an evil army.

Dust: An Elysian Tail, a 2D action-adventure game from Microsoft and indie developer Humble Hearts, is scheduled for its’ Xbox Live Arcade release on Wednesday, August 15. A side-scrolling title in the vein of such games as Castlevania and Metroid, the game follows the adventures of a mysterious warrior named Dust, who brandishes an ancient blade and takes on an evil army.

The title promises both intense action and customizable role-playing elements. Furthermore, the stylish hand-drawn art and animation for the game was primarily made solely by game designer and animator Dean Dodrill over a period of several years.

To celebrate the release, Microsoft has released a new trailer showcasing some of the beautiful cinematics players can expect to see, along with several clips of the platforming action and sword-based combat that the game offers.
