Is A LEGO Jurassic World Game Headed Our Way?

If a teaser at the end of the recently released Lego Batman 3 is to be believed, it appears that a Lego Jurassic World title could be headed our way in the future. This teaser comes on the heels of leaked marketing materials from Toys 'R Us that also indicated that a Lego version of the film franchise was in development.

If a teaser at the end of the recently released LEGO Batman 3 is to be believed, it appears that a LEGO Jurassic World title could be headed our way in the future. This teaser comes on the heels of leaked marketing materials from Toys ‘R Us which also indicated that a LEGO version of the film franchise was in development.

During the credits sequence of LEGO Batman 3, we see the Caped Crusader and Robin scaling the wall of a massive building, similar to what the duo does in the classic Batman television series. Midway through their climb, however, a massive dinosaur appears and the familiar Jurassic Park theme starts up. The dinosaur then waves to the duo and stomps off, presumably back to his home.

As we all know by now, Jurassic World will hit theaters next year, and it makes total sense that there will be a strong marketing push behind it. LEGO has previously announced a partnership with Universal Pictures in order to release toy sets based around the film, so it’s not too surprising that a game would also be in the works.

What interests me here, however, is what exactly LEGO Jurassic World would cover. Previous entries in the LEGO game franchise, such as LEGO Indiana Jones and LEGO Harry Potter have covered their respective film franchises in their entirety. So, it will be interesting to see if this title will cover the previous three Jurassic Park films, or just this new entry. Honestly, just give me a LEGO Ian Malcolm and I’ll be happy.

We will continue to update you on the latest news regarding LEGO Jurassic World as it becomes available, so stay tuned!
