New Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Character Screens Released

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, the third entry in Square Enix's JRPG sub-series, will feature a bevy of familiar faces besides the titular heroine. Players can expect to run into such characters as Caius, Snow, and Noel in Lightning's latest adventure, and the publisher has released a new set of promotional screenshots showcasing some of them in action, along with various looks at the game's environments.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is currently scheduled for a North American release date of February 11, 2014 on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with a digital download being planned for release on the PlayStation Network as well.
