A video game developer making a sequel to a popular title?!?! Why, I’m just shocked…

Looking back through the history of Rockstar New England reveals that the studio contributed to Max Payne 3 and the little-known Grand Theft Auto V, as well as developing the Empire Earth series when they were known as Mad Doc Software. It is also worth pointing out that the studio ported Bully, in the form of Bully: Scholarship Edition, to the Xbox 360 in 2008.

Given Rockstar New England‘s most recent role of providing development support for other Rockstar teams, there is no shortage of “famous IP” that Doron Feinstein could potentially be working on. The smart money seems to be on a sequel to Red Dead Redemption, but I’m going to go with my heart and hope that all the recent Bully chatter has some substance behind it.
