If you didn't play the aptly named LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, Sony's giving you another chance to fix that this November. If you didn’t play the aptly named LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, Sony’s giving you another chance to fix that this November. Revealed today via the PlayStation Blog, the company is putting out a new edition of the game featuring Marvel-centric goodies and extras. This time around, the title is called LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Marvel Super Hero Editon. There has to be a way to make that shorter.

When it comes to what’s new for the latest edition, there’s a reasonable serving of Marvel madness for players to check out. This includes three “exciting” mini-games that star Marvel Super Heroes, as well as a varied selection of Marvel costumes to dress Sackboy and Sackgirl in. The game is said to include “a load of additional Marvel content,” so there may be even more than what I’ve just mentioned.

Otherwise, the title appears to be quite similar to the original. The Evil Puppeteer antagonist has brought darkness to Carnivalia, and its up to our adorable little sacks to save the day once more. As of now there are 18 Marvel character costumes confirmed, not to mention the original creations tools that offer near-limitless possibilities with customizable stickers, decorations, and the like. As with most entries in the series, the amount of player effort and creativity will almost directly determine how much fun comes out the other end.

Perhaps the best part about LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Marvel Super Hero Edition is the fact that it’s slated to retail for just €19.99 when it releases on November 19th. I’ve already played the original version myself, but if you missed out the first time around then it’s tough to beat the value here.

Hey Sony, how about a Batman version? I’d be all over re-buying if that were the case.
