LOUD On Planet X Will Mix Indie Music And Stage Defence Later This Month

Later this month, Toronto-based Pop Sandbox will unleash volume with LOUD on Planet X. A music/rhythm/defence game, it promises an engaging mixture of indie music and tap-based gameplay.

Featuring music from artists like Tegan and Sara, Fucked Up and Metric, LOUD on Planet X will task gamers with defending epic rock concerts’ stages from incoming aliens. This will be accomplished using a horizontal grid system, which shows similarities to games like Frequency and Amplitude.

LOUD on Planet X will be released on April 19th, for PlayStation 4 and PC, with an asking price of $6.99 USD/$8.99 CAD. It will then come to certain iOS and Android devices on the 21st, for $3.99 USD/$5.49 CAD. While you wait, check out its latest trailer and screenshots.
