No Man’s Sky’s Endless Universe Comes To PlayStation 4 In June 2016

It feels like an eternity since we first laid eyes on No Man's Sky, but after a long, long wait, we finally have a firm release window. June 2016 may not be the date many were hoping for, but the head of indie studio Hello Games', Sean Murray, has said that he hopes "you'll see it [the long wait] will be worth it as we reveal more about No Man's Sky over the coming months."

Murray is also well aware of the huge anticipation and expectation on his and the rest of the studio’s shoulders, and he doesn’t take it lightly. In fact, Murray is just as excited to play the game as you are.

Since E3 our release date has now become clear. The game, our ambition and some key developments have fallen into place. It’s incredibly hard work, but development is going really well.

This is a game that means everything to our team. I have wanted to play something like No Man’s Sky since I was a kid, and many of you have told me you feel the same. For all of us, we get one shot to make this game and we can’t mess it up. Our small team knows the world is watching, we’ve come from the bottom and we don’t take it lightly.

Yes, you’ve still got almost another year to wait until Hello Games lets you loose in No Man’s Sky’s universe, but until then, the studio have released another trailer to whet your appetite. Check it out above, and enjoy!
