Well, it’s almost here. Bioware‘s Mass Effect 3 is launching on March 6th and the world is waiting with baited breath to see what happens next in the saga of Commander Shepard vs. the Reapers.

In order to tide us over, the studio has released a launch trailer, which should be enough to whet fans’ appetites. The quick two minute trailer does a great job of building that sense of urgency and impending doom that Bioware wants gamers to feel. We also see that Shepard and his team are adopting the motto of survival at any cost. They’re prepared to die for their cause and it looks like they are going to make an epic last stand.

It’s been a while since I stepped into the Mass Effect universe but the first two games were both excellent pieces of work and damn near perfect. The wait for Mass Effect 3 has felt far too long and March 6th can’t come soon enough!

Check out the launch trailer below and let us know what you think.
