Massive Rockstar Games Sale Starts On PlayStation Store

If you’re a PlayStation 3 owner who has been interested in some of Rockstar Games’ sprawling sandbox games in the past, but for whatever reason never got around to actually buying them, you may be in luck, as the popular developer-publisher has kicked off a sale on the PlayStation Store this week that applies to some of their biggest titles of the past few years.

While the lack of anything Grand Theft Auto-related is a bit glaring (not discounting something as new as GTA V makes sense, but no love for GTA IV or the PS2 & PSP entries?), the fact that you can snag such titles as Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3 for super-low prices makes up for it in my book.

The full list of titles, discounts, and comparisons to their regular prices is listed below.

  • Bully for $2.49 (regularly $9.99)
  • L.A. Noire for $7.49 (regularly $29.99)
  • L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass for $2.99 (regularly $11.99)
  • Manhunt for $2.49 (regularly $9.99)
  • Max Payne for $2.49 (regularly $9.99)
  • Max Payne 3 Ultimate Edition for $5.99 (regularly $19.99)
  • Max Payne 3 for $4.99 (regularly $29.99)
  • Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass for $3.49 (regularly $14.99)
  • Midnight Club for $2.49 (regularly $9.99)
  • Midnight Club 2 for $2.49 (regularly $9.99)
  • Midnight Club Los Angeles Complete Edition for $4.99 (regularly $19.99)
  • Midnight Club 4: DUB Edition for $4.99 (regularly $9.99)
  • Midnight Club 4: DUB Edition Remix for $2.49 (regularly $9.99)
  • Midnight Club L.A. Remix for $4.99 (regularly $19.99)
  • Red Dead Redemption for $7.49 (regularly $29.99)
  • Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare for $4.99 (regularly $19.99)
  • Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Collection for $9.99 (regularly $39.99)
  • Red Dead Revolver for $2.49 (regularly $9.99)
  • The Warriors for $3.49 (regularly $14.99)

As of this posting, there hasn’t been any announcement from Sony or Rockstar confirming just how long or short this impressive sale will last, so if you have an interest in any of these games, it might be a good idea to act on it fast.  I know I’ll be taking this opportunity to try Max Payne 3 for the first time.
