One of the most anticipated launch titles for the 3DS Shop, Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version, has been delayed. Official confirmation of this release setback was delivered by producer Tetsuya Kitabayashi, through Capcom’s Unity DevRoom.

No official reason was given for the delay, but comments made in the DevRoom post make it seem like they needed more time to craft a polished experience. Kitabayashi mentioned that the team will continue to work on the project with “a renewed desire to create a product of the highest quality.” He also urged fans to “wait just a little longer,” as there was no word of a new release date for the anticipated game.
