Microsoft has announced today which games you can expect to download during next month’s Games with Gold promotion. Making its debut on the Xbox One in June, the promotion will be offering up Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood for free. No specific release dates were revealed, but at some point during the month, you will be able to grab both titles free of charge.

As for the Xbox 360, three titles will be made available. On June 1st you can download Dark Souls and on June 16th, the free title will shift to Charlie Murder. And if that’s not enough for you, on June 16th Microsoft will also make Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition free to download. Both those games will be available to you until June 30th.

While it’s a bit disappointing that the Xbox One Games with Gold are just arcade titles and not full retail releases, I’ll take what I can get. I’m happy that the promotion is finally on Microsoft’s new console and though this month’s offerings aren’t the most exciting, I have no doubt that it will improve from here. At least, I hope it will. Still, free is free and you can bet that I’ll be grabbing both titles as soon as I can.

Tell us, what will you be downloading next month for free? Sound off below!
