When it comes to Splinter Cell, Spies versus Mercenaries is the most talked about game mode - outside of the campaign, that is. Fans of the franchise love being able to assume the roles of stealthy spies and heavy weaponry-toting mercenaries, and were noticeably disappointed when it was confirmed that the series' last entry had overlooked the cooperative slash competitive multiplayer mode in favour of other options. Thankfully for those folks, though, things have changed this time around, with Ubisoft Toronto's debut project, Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

When it comes to Splinter Cell, Spies versus Mercenaries is the most talked about game mode – outside of the campaign, that is. A while ago, it was revealed that Splinter Cell: Blacklist would, in fact, mark the return of the community favourite, and a trailer followed. Now, we have something better: An almost nine minute-long gameplay walkthrough narrated by Ubisoft Toronto Community Director Zach Cooper and Level Design Director Geoff Ellenor. Together, they detail the four-on-four scenario, offering some in-depth details and tricks of the trade.
