Spring 2012 is the official word, with announcements of a playable version being released at MineCon. Word is that there will also be exact release date information revealed for Minecraft on Xbox 360 during the convention.

It’s been a big year for Mojang, and it would appear that there is even more success to come. We’ll keep you posted when we hear more.
