A whole lot of new information regarding this year’s Pokemon Sun and Moon has emerged thanks to new footage released by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. The trailer (above) gives us a better look at the Alola Region, which is made up of five different tropical islands, one of which is artificial. Will the latter island turn out to be the hideout of this generation’s villainous group? Quite possibly.
In addition to the above, a few NPCs important to the player character were detailed. Professor Kukui will be Alola’s resident wise guy (no, not in the gangster sense) and will give you the knowledge and tips you’ll need to begin your journey. Other characters introduced include Lillie, a “mysterious” assistant of Kukui’s and Hau, a friend of the main character.
Lastly, new battle footage has confirmed the names, stats and abilities of Sun and Moon‘s box art-adorning legendary Pokemon.
