With Mindjack right around the corner (hitting store shelves on January 18th, 2011), Square Enix has released a new trailer for their upcoming third person shooter. Set in 2031 AD, Mindjack takes place in a world where the governments of the world are in decline and corrupt organizations are starting to take over. You play as a rouge agent who can hack into and control enemies, civilians or vehicles.

Mindjack promises players a compelling single player experience that ‘transitions seamlessly into cooperative play’. It seems unique and from all the coverage we’ve seen, this could be the sleeper hit of the year.
