NHL 16 will skate, deke and shoot its way into the EA Access Vault next week, according to an Electronic Arts release. In doing so, it will join NHL 15, which happens to be the only other current generation hockey game in existence.

When it released last fall, NHL 16 showed marked improvement over its lacking and regularly mocked predecessor, thanks to a host of different modes and noticeably improved mechanics. Combined, those things made it one of the best hockey games in years, and proved that the series is on the upswing after its most maligned outing in quite some time.

The puck will drop for EA Access’ opening faceoff on March 29th, which is when NHL 16 is scheduled to enter the Vault.
