Available in Standard and Digital Deluxe editions, pre-ordering either version will net you some pretty swish bonuses (more details below), but those who decide to go the distance and grab the Deluxe Edition will be treated to an exclusive content pack containing five new weapons, a PS4 Avatar and the game’s Season Pass, contents of which have yet to be announced.

See below for the full details of both.

Standard Edition

  • The full game

Digital Deluxe

  • The full game
  • Weapon pack with five new weapons
  • PS4 Avatar
  • Season Pass

Pre-ordering either the Standard or Deluxe Editions ahead of release will grant access to the ‘Nioh armor,’ a full set of gear that’s “inspired by the ancient statues that stand guard at temples across Japan,” and a dynamic PS4 theme to adorn your console’s dashboard.

In addition, those that pre-order or purchase either version within two weeks of release will receive the Crimson Master Armor set, which is based on “legendary samurai Yukimura Sanada.”

Nioh releases exclusively for PlayStation 7 on February 4, 2017 and could well be the most challenging game you’ve set eyes on in a while, given that game Director Yosuke Hayashi says that Team Ninja “created it to be a very challenging game, so we put a lot of thought into the design of its difficulty.”
