It’s only been a few short months (read: hours) since we stopped humming the infectious soundtrack from Disney’s hit animation Frozen and by the looks of things, we’ll be belting out the film’s popular tunes once more after a PEGI listing confirmed that a SingStar Frozen is in the works for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Sony later confirmed the leak, stating that the upcoming karaoke experience would hope to capture the wonderful, heart-warming spirit of the film. However, due to licensing issues, the title has only been confirmed to release in certain European territories at launch — Portugal, Poland, Spain, Italy and Germany, to be specific.

Here’s the official statement from the publisher.

“We are very excited to be bringing the phenomenally popular songs from Disney Frozen to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 with the launch of SingStar Frozen. Due to licensing restrictions, unfortunately SingStar Frozen is only available in selected territories at launch. However, we are working with Disney to bring it to other markets when possible and will share more information shortly.”

While details are still scarce on the icy ground, in all likelihood SingStar Frozen will, at the very least, contain the tracks found in the film’s sing-along CD, including some of the well-known big hits like “Let It Go,” “Do You Want To Build A Snowman?” and more.

This isn’t the first time that Sony has collaborated with Disney; after all, the former released a Frozen-themed PlayStation 4 that was exclusive to Japan.

We’ll have much more on the status of SingStar Frozen as it appears, but for now, let us know what you make of the recently-revealed karaoke experience in the comments section below.
