It’s almost time for English-speaking fans of Capcom’s popular Ace Attorney handheld series to start yelling, “OBJECTION!” again, as the publisher has given a concrete release date for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, the fifth main entry in the franchise exclusively for the 3DS. Confirmed earlier this year to be receiving a digital-only release on the 3DS eShop in North America and Europe, Dual Destinies now has a specific release date for wannabe lawyers to get excited about – October 24th.

Dual Destinies is unique in several ways, namely that it is the first entry in the series for the 3DS, the first to use polygonal character models instead of two-dimensional sprites, and the first to get an M rating from the ESRB. Capcom also confirmed plans to bring the game’s downloadable content, including new character costumes and a whole new case to play through, over at some point, though pricing and release dates for those remain unconfirmed. Dual Destinies itself has been confirmed to cost $29.99 in North America and €24.99 in Europe.
