Pokemon Sun And Moon Release On November 18; Starter Pokemon Revealed

Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have released the first gameplay trailer for this year's Pokemon Sun & Moon, confirming the release date as November 18 in North America and Japan and November 23 in Europe. Along with the above, the teaser reveals the setting for the 7th generation as the tropical-looking island of Alola, but best of all, the three starters - again following the water/fire/grass-type format - were also unveiled.

Finally, as has become tradition ever since the release of Pokemon Gold & Silver, the box art for each game was displayed, showing off what are presumably this generation’s legendary critters. The names for both have yet to be confirmed, but they both look rather intimidating.
