When DuckTales: Remastered receives its staggered release starting next month, it will showcase a familiar world that has undergone a marvellous transformation. In the process of doing so, it will also let us revisit decades old memories, thanks to careful attention to its source material and the return of some classic stages.
To keep our nostalgia meters running, Capcom has released a new trailer for the above-mentioned platforming revamp, which sends viewers on a snowbound trip to the Himalayas. Therein, money-mad Scrooge McDuck must traverse snow and ice-capped mountains in an attempt to secure the Crown of Genhis Khan. Of course, the noted mountainous region isn’t dormant and quiet – in fact, it’s filled with angry wildlife and treacherous geography. That’s to be expected, though.
All of this talk about DuckTales makes me want to go back and watch the show’s fantastic feature film. It’s one of my fondest memories from childhood.
