Project X Zone 2 Gets An American Release Date

Project X Zone 2, the 3DS-exclusive strategy RPG title, was originally slated for a simultaneous worldwide release later this year when it was first announced, but the North American version got delayed to an unspecified later date soon after. Thankfully, Bandai Namco has now solidified a precise release date for the sequel, and it’s not too far off.

The crossover-heavy sequel will be available in North America on February 16, 2016. Gameplay will again focus on a mix of turn-based strategy and flashy special moves used to juggle opponents while attacking for heavy damage. Characters from iconic franchises like Tekken, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Mega Man X will make a return, along with newcomers like Captain Commando, Phoenix Wright, and Felicia from the Darkstalkers series.
