Indeed, from 84% off Arc System Works’ 3v3 tag-team brawler Dragon Ball FighterZ to 80% off Monolith Games’ epic action-RPG Middle-earth: Shadow Of War, the Japanese giant’s weekly promotions have started to become a real godsend to prudent gamers who’re looking to save a few bob, while also getting to experience some of the finest titles the PlayStation Store has to offer. And thankfully, Sony’s latest weekly deal is no different.

Yes, the PlayStation Store has just significantly discounted one of PS4’s most popular and best-selling games. Specifically, the title in question is Ubisoft’s open-world first-person shooter Far Cry 5, which can be yours to own for the modest price of just $9! That’s right, until July 23rd, all PS4 owners can nab a copy of the critically acclaimed action-adventure game, while enjoying a heavy discount of 85% off its original price. That’s a pretty sweet deal, right?

Originally released in 2018, Far Cry 5 takes place in Hope County, a fictional region of Montana in the United States, and features a power-hungry doomsday cult that rule over the province with an iron fist. Not only did the PS4 version of the game manage to rack up an 81 average on review aggregator Metacritic, but our very own David Morgan also loved his time with the title. Ultimately, he awarded the open-world experience four and a half stars and concluded that, “Ubisoft have cherry-picked everything that has made the Far Cry series successful, and distilled it into a single, laser-focused package.” Go ahead and read his full thoughts here.

But what say you? Tell us, are you impressed with Sony‘s latest weekly deal? Or will you be giving it a miss this week? Let us know in the usual place down below.
